WHIIIIIIIIRRRR
There it was again. That persistent sound. What was it? Typhoon perked his ears lazily. It was the sound of the drill, work work working on another poor innocent creature, bending it to its will, transforming it into a monster. It was the last sound Typhoon remembered hearing from memory, and it was the first sound he heard waking up.
Typhoon was blind. His wide milky eyes stared off into the distance, watching nothing. But who needs eyes to see? He was able to see without using his eyes. He simply had to make a soft chirping sound quite unlike what wolves make. But he really wasn't a wolf, so it wasn't too unusual.
He really had no clue what he really even was. For all he knew, he was a wolf. But on his back was a pair of large feathered wings, with hooked claws on the ends. They were wicked claws too, able to cut through the bars in front of him now. But why wouldn't he? He couldn't remember that either. What did he look like? He looked at his paws and chirped softly. Black fur. Black fur was what he had. And by the look of his paws he was big. Very big and powerful. His senses were starting to wake up now. He could hear more noises. What? What was that? He looked wildly around and chirped some more, and found that there were tons of cages lined all around him, holding cats, dogs, and a wolf or two. Some of them appeared odd, with wings, heads, extra limbs and such. Some were still awaiting their doom.
Suddenly he could feel his body. He could feel pain in his body. He chirped frantically, and saw that it was only because he was in a cramped position in the cage. He was too big for the little cage. He also felt pain inside his stomach. Was this hunger? Yes, he remembers now. And that dry feeling in his mouth was thirst.
This was not comfortable at all. Something clawed in his mind. 'Get out!' it screamed. 'Get out!' What was this? Thinking? Yes it must be. He heaved his weary old body up in the cage with a growl, ready to get out.
"Hey!" he yelled. What was this new mode? Speech it was. Yes. It would help him out. "Anyone out there hear me?"

((Her name is pronounced -Sake-, if you were wondering. ^^))
With a start, Sayke awoke. She lay in a damp hallway of gray stone. Her surroundings were unfamiliar. Fear consumed her petite frame, as it was quite unusual to be alone inside a looming castle. Her black pelt clung tight to her bodice, accompanied by a pair of gorgeous emerald orbs. They flickered around the stone, her large auditives flattening at the sound of a masculine voice. "Hello?" Sayke choked out. Her voice was dull and unfamiliar, even to her. "Anyone?" The feminine shape managed to roll onto her side protectively.
A cry erupted from the back of her throat as she fell onto a rather disturbing form. A tiny cat equipped with a massive pair of feathered wings hissed deeply, lashing out at Sayke and dissapearing down the hall. Her sides rose and fell at an alarming rate. A harsh scream broke the eerie silence-but then again, there was no silence. WHIIIIIIIIIIIIIR
The noise caught her attention. Audtives flickered concerningly. Well-I shouldn't say concerningly. With intrest is more correct. What was that sound? It bothered her greatly as she struggled to rise. It was now she noticed the chain around her neck. "What the h-?" Sayke yelled angrily. Now she realized-the wolf was next into the room...whatever had happened to the cat...
She shook herself ruthlessly. The mere thought brought a sickening feeling to her gut. In fact, Sayke felt herself become nausiated. Pain drifted into her muscles as she felt herself slide back onto the floor in desperation. "Hello?" she called helplessly, growling deeply after her words halted. "Can anyone help?" A tear drifted down her muzzle as she began to realize...it was useless to cry. That would change absolutely nothing.

He whipped his head around sharply, homing in on the sound. He chirped and saw her. Another wolf. She was down the hallway, quite close to him in fact. He heaved his body again, trying desperately to get out. Then another sweet sound...crying? Yes....his body seemed stronger at the sound, and his fuzzy mind started to clear. Crying...it made him want to protect something. But what?
Her perhaps. Maybe it was a maternal instinct. No, he was male. He remembered that now. Males weren't mothers. They were fathers. Fathers? To what? He was so confused. It made him want to whimper. But he couldn't whimper. He was strong. Why? He did not know. But he just was.
He finally then got a bright idea. He could use the terrible claws on his wings to cut through his cage and free this other wolf who needs help. Perfect. He crunched near the front of his cage and yelled, "I'm here!" then let loose his claws from his wings. They were perhaps 4 inches long, and they shimmered in the light. There was a horrible sound as they met the metal. Typhoon was almost afraid the metal wouldn't yield...
But it did. It snapped cleanly. He continued to cut through the bars until he had an opening for himself. He scrunched through it, and cut his body with the bars. Fresh wounds...what was that smell? It was blood. His stomach reeled in hunger, and the animals screamed all around like crazed banshees. Then wearily he trotted down the hall to her. "What am I to do?" he asked.

Sayke looked up at him with saddened eyes. A gruff snarl erupted from the back of her throat as another wolf from inside a cage leapt at her. Her emerald orbs lit up with wonder at the creature. It seemed to be...half cat? How absolutely odd. And this male. He had bat wings! Auditives flickered worriedly as he offered assistance. She was going to have trouble trusting anyone here. Who knows what their motives were?
The steady whirring of the drill halted. Panic fled into her system, sweat beading on her brow. "Please...hurry. The chains..." she whipped around to snap angrily at the metal. Sharpened ivories rubbed against the surface, clicking roughly at the failed attempt. It was no use for a regular animal to try. No matter what they did would be in vain.
The sound of approaching footfalls filled her heart with dread. A large human appeared from behind a heavy wooden door, masked with a piece of bloodied cloth-holding a shiny knife in one hand, and a small drill in the other. Sayke receeded into panic, lifting her figure to arch her back protectively. She hissed with a malicious glint in her eye.
"Stupid human..." she muttered with a ferocity. Black fur stood on end as she was gripped roughly by the neck. But no-it was not a hand around her scruff. It was the chain. The link of metal that the awful human yanked on. It drew her in considerably as she continued to protest. Rough hands gripped around her belly as he lifted her into the room. Auditives folded as the sound of the wooden door shutting heavily filling the area. ~*~*~ The gentle whirring of the drill ceased now. Sayke laid on the table, her muzzle tilted against the knife. Pain shot through her body as she tried to move. "Wha-?" she stuttered as she glanced about the room in panic. Her memory was shot. Her name. Sayke. Where was she? In a large room with a bloody knife halfway to her scalp?
Sayke growled roughly as she glanced angrily to her back. Long scars laid along her flanks-she realized nothing had been done to her-but why was she here? Now she figured-the operation had not even begun. With a harsh grunt she flung herself off the table in fear. Shoving hard wiht her shoulder, she pushed open the door. Sayke's flanks ached as did her neck. The chain was no longer around her scruff. A clear puddle lay on the stone floor. Lowering her muzzle, she gently went to lap at the sweet liquid. At realization that her tongue was no longer in place, she attempted to scream. Yet no sound emerged.

ooc:That'd suck.
Bic:He had been knocked out...again. His mind was reeling in darkness. All he saw was stars. How long had he been in this state of mind? He shook his head and woke himself out of his dream like state. Where was he? He chirped. He was in a chamber all by himself. A large door was closed, locked with many padlocks. No, he was not to escape again...
He growled and hissed in his frustration. Why? There was something so nice about running. He liked it. But it was taken away from him. He wanted back badly. A human was near, he could smell his filthy scent. He chirped angrily. Tall, holding a knife...not bloody yet. The man was walking towards him...slowly...ready for him to pounce.
But pounce he did not. He ignored his instincts to kill and destroy him. No, instead he sat in front of him. "Let me out," he demanded to the man. The man appeared shocked at his speech. "Let me out or I'll kill you." He growled and snarled.
The man dropped his knife and ran out quickly, making little shrieking noises. "It's him!" the man screamed. "Him! Him!" and left the door wide open. Typhoon smelled the air. Fear. Much of it swam in the air. There was that other scent too. That other wolf. What happened to her?
He needed to go after her. She was the only creature here that had talked to him. All the other creatures simply barked and growled and hissed at him. He wanted to talk to her...
So he trotted through the halls, following her scent, until he came to another door. He pawed at it nervously, smelling more fear. "Hello? Is there a wolf in there?"

ooc-Totally. ;D
bic-Sayke looked around with fear pooling behind her orbs. Another human voice ruptured the sound of her heavy breathing. The charcoal femme wandered about the room, pawing anxiously at the walls. She attempted a feeble whimper, yet only a squeek came from her damaged throat. "H-h-h-" Sayke strained to form a word, but without a tongue it was impossible. In her state she could not take down the door.
She needed the male to help her. Talons raked along the walls again. Auditives wavered in submission as the doorknob began to shake.
Someone was trying to enter. But who? Sayke forced a painful growl, leaning back against the stone. What was she to do? How could she make it out now? What was he going to do to her? Now that her tongue was gone...the pretty fae shook her pained head. Thankfully she had aquired a migraine. Sayke rolled her eyes and sighed gently as the knob stopped wiggling.
"Mhmmhmm..." Sayke mumbled, trying to vocalize a bit. She tried as hard as she possibly could to gain Typhoon's attention. "Huh-huh-" she cried out in pain, scratching nimbly at the stone door.

{name:Serenity#|#picture:0}Dimly her eyes caressed the ground of the castle floor. Her eager curiousity spread greatly as she tried to find the wolves whom were captured. Most of which were either locked in cages, or even dead in them. Or atleast... waiting to die. Solemn face sternly looked up to a cold, mossy looking door.
Her smooth white hand was currently locked on a stone cold door-knob. Twisiting it with a constant push. "Bloody Hell!" her voice shrieked and took note her small british sccent that leaked out at times. The cloth sandals on her feet moved up to the door as she continued to urge it open. A small crease opened within the door and only a sliver of the room could be seen. Serenity's greens eyes gleamed into them as she pushed harder. Most of her strength was diminished and had been long drained from her body.
Though will all she could muster, that door would open! Carefully with such an idotic thought in her mind, she squeezed her slender fingers through the door and pushed with her bulky shoulder. Finger-nails were overgrown and tightly gripped onto the rocky surface of the door. Seeing that they were jagged and gruffly shaved to dissapointment it was one-hundred percent pain. If whatever was on the other side of the door, pushed back only a bit her fingers would be sliced down the center from the rough rock door. "Come on...", her mellow voice whispered with much grim.

Sayke twitched nervously at the sound of the frantic scrabbling. Whatever was on the other side of the door...was trying to get in again. Fear bubbled in her stomach, causing a wave of sudden nausea to fall 'pon the fatale. Grimly she rose, scenting the air with her weak nose.
"H-?" she mumbled with little effort, as if to ask what the hell was going on. Her ashen peltage rose on end, signalling mild aggitation. Not aggitation-fear. Sayke growled angrily, bringing a sharp pain to her vocals.
She winced meekly, receeding from the door. It was now she would have to make a quick decision. If what was on the other side was the scientist, wouldn't he have a key-or some form of getting back into the area without protest from the door?
Or perhaps it was another one of those monsters...what if it was dangerous? Then again, she wasn't willing to wait for him to get back. The drill was waiting for her. That awful whirring would resume and she would not be a blessed creature any longer.
Slinking to the hard wood with a certain fright, she gently shoved her shoulders against the door. With an inaudible grunt, the combined strengths of the two managed to pry open the block. Hopefully it would be enough for the person to get out. Anything was better then that
hell-bound scientist. Emerald orbs focused on the feminine form beyond the door. She couldn't be much of a threat if she was unchained...could she?
Then again, Sayke's judgment hadn't been great in the past.

Typhoon stuffed his nose to the floor where the door met the opening, and breathed in deeply. Fear, the scent read. He could hear faint noises from the other side, although they had been so quiet. It was what he got for being blind. His other senses were bettered. He chirped softly and pawed at the door. This is where the female was. This is where a blessed creature may meet her doom.
But did he really care about her losing her blessing? No, not really. He couldn't care less. No, he wanted to meet her for his own selfish reasons. Nobody could really label him as a 'caring creature'. If he wanted it, or if it would help him possibly in some way, he would try to use it in any way possible. He just didn't want to lose her before he talked to her...he just wanted to find out more about this place and about himself.
He suddenly rammed his body into the door, causing the door to quake. He watched it with a blank face chirping innocently, as though he didn't know the damage he was causing. He threw his body into it again, feeling pain shoot through his body as he hit his fresh wounds against the door. The last thrust caused his wounds to widen and spill out blood. It painted the outside of the door. He snuffed at it curiously. 'Blood again,' he thought. It was something common. Something that really had no signifigance at all.
The door finally gave in and opened up to him, allowing him into a wider world. He looked around, chirping again. He found the female, and the other door that was opening up. He snuffed at the air, and smelled a new creature...human. His fur bristled up and he flattened his ears. He growled angrily, and edged over with stiff legs.

Sayke looked abruptly around over her shoulder. The male had returned! As she surveyed his features, fear again welled up in the pit of her gut. "Hughmhngmhm?" she mumbled frivolously, pawing at the cold stone with a bloodied digit. Acoustics fluttered to press on her tiara in a sudden gust of surprise. It now came to her attention that again a faint noise of a distant drill had begun.
WHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRR.
Again, but faint and far away. Seemingly in the next room now, working on another creature without hault. What could this one be? A cat-monkey? Perhaps a dog-bat? Who knows. She gave a concerned snort to the two, showing them her worry of the persistant noise. "O-ou-u-" she grunted painfully, pointing to the wall with her muzzle. Sayke again mouthed the word (Out), trying to show how quickly they needed escape.
Emerald orbs flickered towards Serenity. The caring glance in the female's eyes seemingly reassured her. The fatale began to slink carelessly under the table, lifting her figure further into the badly lit room. Her pretty muzzle pressed against the door. "uh-uh-" she continued to stumble over her words.

{name:Serenity#|#picture:0}A large knot developed in the back of her throat as the sound of a snarlign wolf reached her ears. At first she recoiled and stumbled slightly over a small rock before regaining balance. Soon she realized why she was here, and perhaps Serenity could be-friend the wolf? And lead it to freedom? Little did she know of his blind-state how was he to know she meant not a harm.
"No, no!" she whispered in a hush tone. Slender arms waved frantically slightly above her waist. She kept a respectful distance and steadily inched a bit closer. Her voice was now mellow, trying to calm him, but more inportantly... herself.
"I-I really mean, no.. harm". It would seem she was acting rather distant. But whatever the cause may be it needed to end quickly. Time was short, for indeed Serenity knew that the evil man would be returning. Clearly, whatever he was doing to wolves was horrible, imagine what he could do to her?
Green eyes glazed over with fear from the wolf. Although also burned with passion, and a lust to stroke his smooth, black coat. In a show of respected, Serenity kneeled upon her knee. It was the warrior's way of showing respect...

He was taken aback by her respect, and took a step back. He glared at her angrily, flickering h his ears at the faint whirring of the drill. The process had begun again. He wondered what was going on in the other rooms, wondering what creatures were being mutilated to please the humans. Had he suffered through that? He could not remember. But then again, would he want to remember going through such torture?
He heard Sayke's muffled attempts at speaking, and nodded his head to her, then turned to Serenity. "I understand you, you filthy human. Mean me no harm and I mean you none also. My respect for you however is none. Bother me not with such stupid human gestures. You will be more of a help on your feet." He ran to the door. "Human, you know your way around here well?"
The human would be of use to him. But would would he do with her after they escaped? There was no question of 'if'. He knew they would get out. He'd kill everything in his way. His body longed to run freely and his mind be unclouded. He could kill her too...then maybe eat her. His mind was reeling with thoughts. He was returning to old ways again-dangerous malicious ways that made him seem cold hearted to the world.
Maybe he was better off asleep. Maybe these two strangers were better off without meeting him. The cards were perhaps playing against them and they didn't even realize it. He smirked. Perfect for him. Hell for the others.

((Okay, I'm just going to post Serenity, than await.))
She heard his words, but how was it so they understood each other? He was grim, and cold. Not much of a help to her rather kind nature to the hostile animals. The sword tightly tucked and hidden behind the silk of the lace upon her shirt was an option. An option only to be used if absolutely necessary. No, she could not kill this wolf. Although, if he did indeed try to attack her, perhaps she would use, and never, could she imagine killing him.
"I do", Typhoon's grim and demonic tone was merged by Serenity's gentle and caressing one. Perhaps she would have to be demanding in order to live after this /rescue action/ was through? "Your going to have to agree not to harm me afterwords." With that Serenity gave a firm nod and arose to her full height. 5'8 she stood, with no heels, only those ragged sandals to protect her feet.
With a gentle smile she looked back to Sayke, who seemed more interested in escaping than making an agreement with a human. With an eager movement of her arms Serenity beckoned Sayke follow them. Of course, it would appear Serenity would not move without the agreement fully declared, by.. both of them. After all, like Serenity, females could appear pretty and gentle, but truly they could kill if given the right chance.
At-least, that is Serenity's ways. Being, that she was trained as a warrior by her mother, in whom was burned by this man. Creating her into, some type of fairy creature. Wings attached to her back and her ears pointed more than Serenity's, almost shaved. At that moment, Serenity felt like not helping the wolves escape to udder freedom, but instead killing the man who caused her family such pain.

Sayke tilted her head at the female's gestures towards the burned brutan. How awkward was this approach? Very, indeed-unnatural. Fur stood on end as she became unnerved. Soulful emerald orbs looked around the room frantically. "Hmmhmh?" she asked the brute with a mumble, shutting up suddenly as she realized it didn't matter. Sayke couldn't understand the human, and Serenity couldn't understand her mumblings.
She felt now as if she were going to retch. Now they were at an impass. What to do now? I guess they could commnuicate between the brute...but how could he understand her tongueless ramblings? Sayke sighed deeply, moving forward slowly to gently nose Serenity. Pawing meekly at the stone, she dipped her small head, forcing a painful yip from her throat. It hurt to breathe now. She would obviously have to take it easy on the talking.
Or perhaps, lack of talking? Sayke growled angrily as she heard the wolf speak. How come she could understand him and not the human girl? Pondering this momentarily, she began to approach the male with a growl. Her orbs portrayed an angry glint, a malicious hint in her emerald viewfinders.
